Favorite Series 📕📗 

Like I said, this will be a list dump and not ranked. These are the series with books I have purchased (I usually try the library first--shout out to the Libby app!) and have either already reread or plan to reread.

I don't love every single book in each series, of course. But being on this list means I liked at least one of the books (and usually more). There are many reasons I like these series/books--could be I loved the heroine, the hero was hot, the premise was different (not the same old HEA*), the sex was smokin', the author writes beautifully, the characters were different (scarred, blind, different races, same sex couples, etc.), I loved the dogs/cats/horses/pigs, or it featured my absolute favorite type of character (the character that you HATED in the first few books, but ended up adoring later**--shout out to Kerrigan Byrne's character SIR CARLTON MORLEY in the Victorian Rebels series and then the Goode Girls series, but specifically in Seducing a Stranger, and Elizabeth Hoyt's character CAPTAIN JAMES TREVILLION in the Maiden Lane series, but specifically in Dearest Rogue).

I will delve into these separately (I like the word "delve," if you haven't noticed). I am also tired (I work full-time) and I have a tendency to obsess and not sleep (case in point, 969 hours of Animal Crossing in less than 6 months). So here ya go:

I will probably post about specific characters one day. Some of them are so amazing, I carry them with me (yes, I am exhausted and getting melodramatic; plus, TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY). Good night!

MacLean's Rules of Scoundrels Series (A Rogue by Any Other Name: Book 1)

Rules of Scoundrels (Book One: A Rogue by Any Other Name) Sarah MacLean Stars:  Definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ½ (gaming hell; feisty heroine; hot hero; kidnapping; awesome characters—Pippa is a jewel) Heat rating:    🔥🔥🔥 ½   (see the SEX-AND-SPOILERS section.) So, I must admit something. Sarah MacLean may be one of my top 5 favorite historical romance authors. I found her in March of this year, and immediately purchased all of her books. I love all her series. Important note: the Rules of Scoundrels series is closely tied to an earlier series, Love by Numbers. I did not read the series in order, though I kind of wish I had. You’ll hear familiar names and places throughout her books. So I suggest you read them in order, but this series is my favorite, though I adore them ALL (also, do not miss her Bareknuckle Bastards series)! Michaels' Wicked Woodleys Series (Forbidden: Book 1)

The Wicked Woodleys (Book One: Forbidden) Jess Michaels Stars:  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (mystery; devoted family; feisty heroine; hot hero; we get out of London; HEAT!) Heat rating:    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 + (see the SEX-AND-SPOILERS section.) It actually took me a while to start reading Jess Michaels. I do not know what took me so long, because her books are legit magic. As I’ve said, I knew almost NOTHING about romance novels before the end of last year, but I recognized JM’s name. I was many months into my new obsession before I tried one of her books, then kicked myself for waiting so long.😫 Forbidden begins The Wicked Woodleys series and it’s a romance with some mystery elements. The last work in The Notorious Flynns series, A Marquis for Mary , is the prequel to this series, introducing Edward, Lord Woodley.
